Smock Dress

What I'm wearing: Peony Lim floral smock dress, Uterque sunglasses & H&M turquoise stone ring.

Imagine my excitement when A) I see one of my favourite bloggers, Peony making and selling dresses and B) I come home from a long and boring day at work to find the cutely wrapped parcel waiting for me.

Uh how pretty is the dress?! Definitely lifted my hangover blues when I put it on. All the dresses she makes are made from vintage recycled fabrics and traditional cotton denim making them unique. The comfiness and beautiful colours of the dress make it perfect for long spring/summer days. Thinking I will probably pair the dress with either black tights or pastel pink skinnies.

I'm off to shake the rest of hangover off, more soon!

Tutu

What I'm wearing: 3D rose top by China Doll boutique, vintage belt, Primark tutu, Frassy rags arty inspired ring & Miss Selfridge cross ring.

This post should be about how I've been enjoying the sun, soaking up the rays and being on a beach, but no. I've been stuck at work since Wednesday. Boo!
Anyway just a quick one as I'm off to work today, accompanied by a cracking hangover, brilliant!

Masculine vs Feminine.

What I'm wearing: dad's tie, ASOS white boyfriend shirt, H&M blazer, Primark skinnies, vintage Dior belt, H&M turquoise stone ring & H&M amber stone cuff.

To me, nothing says sexy like a girl who can rock the masculine power suit to show the men how it's done, yet still look chic. Coco Chanel, Leighton Meester & Marlene Dietrich are just some of the stylish females who flirted with blazers, shirts and ties.

 Inspired by this I thought my work wear would be a perfect opportunity to experiment with the feminine tux look. Throwing on a white boyfriend shirt and blazer, flicking through my dads tie collection and adding red lips to keep the chic, this was my finished look. Working in the Polo Ralph Lauren section at work, this look suited well, and was actually rather comfy too.Women’s power suits can be a tricky thing to pull off, but with the right fit, a little confidence & sex appeal you can boss it. & just like the wise words of Beyoncé, who runs the world? GIRLS!

Studs & Stars

What I'm wearing: Crown and Glory Frassy star crown, Zara white tee, Primark studded jacket, Miss Selfridge galaxy leggings, studded bucket bag from a market in London, H&M cuff & Topshop wedge boots.

 Firstly apologies for the pictures taken on my phone, been rather busy today. Poor excuse I know!

I've been lusting over a pair of leggings from Black Milk since I don't know when (if for some strange reason you haven't checked them out already, do it here now!)
As lush as they are, I could never really justify the prices, so imagine my delight when I spotted these gorgeous galaxy print leggings in Miss Selfridge. It was instant love. Not only were they a snap at £24.99 the colours are also amaze.

And to go all out star wise, I paired them with my most prized accessory, the Frassy star crown. It's amazing right? Puts me in an instant good mood when I put it on.

Had a lush day with the girlfriends. Window shopping, laughing and of course eating a hella lotta junk food. And I came home to find these cute cards from friends and family. Happy bunny!
